This set of 13 clear acrylic stamps, Layered Blossoms, is designed by Lisa Jones for Sizzix. This set features layering flowers, berries, and leaves to make a beautiful cluster. These stamps adhere to acrylic blocks and can be used with your favorite inks, markers, embossing powders, and other crafting mediums (sold separately). These stamps can be used to create cards, scrapbook pages, tags, journal pages, and other paper crafting projects. These stamps range in size from 1.875" x 1.875" to 1" x 0.875".
First of all please note these are acrylic stamps, NOT photopolymer. Therefore they are poor quality. They do not stick super well to a block or stamp platform. And because they are not photopolymer they don't make an excellent image. Needs to be stamped like twice so they'll do better with a stamp platform, unless you use maybe pigment inks. I wished I'd have paid more attention to that word "acrylic" before I purchase them. My mistake. I just expected better from Sizzix. It's a shame because they are really cute. If they'd done them right they would get 5 stars. They are also made in China. In addition, the way they are packaged on the acetate sheets is the opposite from any other stamp company in the industry that I know of. The back sheet is the one that holds them and the top sheet that has the images peels away from the clear backing sheet, (the stamps won't even stick to the top printed sheet,) therefore it is difficult to replace them onto the backing sheet and get them arranged right. It is an absolutely stupid setup!
Also because they're set on the backing sheet with the stamping part down there is a lack of
room for good adhesion and they fall off! Good grief! Considering all this they are also overpriced!
This was my first Sizzix stamp purchase and it will be my last. They make good dies and die cutting machines but I will never purchase another set of stamps by them.
I have been having so much fun creating lots of beautiful flowers with this set. Love that it layers up so easily. Simple but beautiful design.
These stamps are fantastic to have on hand. They make great imprints on cards.
