I finally broke down and purchased some glimmer mist. The graphite color is a nice silvery color. This stuff is so much fun to play with! I recommend covering other paper or items in the area, as the spray can cover more than you intend! A little goes a long way.
Also, spray quickly for a nice even sparkle or shimmer, or push the pump down slowly for a splattered effect. I recommend "priming" the pump by spraying on scraps or into a garbage can before using the first time, too.
Have fun! Definitely worth the purchase :)
It was my fav new product at CHA-Summer. Considering its my job to go to every booth, that's saying a lot LOL! I adore it. I bought graphite, merlot and copper. Its really fun to spray chipboard letters. It layers and layers, just let it dry in between. You can use your embossing gun to dry it faster, or just leave it out to dry. I even sprayed clothes pins (that i use to hang my kids art up). Its water based and has no smell. So much easier to use than spray paint!
I just started using the glimmer mists and I really like them. They dry much faster than I thought and they leave a great shimmer. I just used the graphite on a page I just completed and even though you can't see the full effect in the pic, trust me, in person it is fabulous. Not too much glimmer, just enough!

I said it in my other review and I'll say it again here. Watch the demo video! There are some wonderful ideas and it teaches you how to use this product. You can do a lot with it!

This stuff is so cool! I love what it does on paper, chipboard and wood. You can spray a little for a sheer, shimmery effect or continue adding layer upon layer for a deeper color and more glimmer. Be sure to let each layer dry before adding another though or you will get "spots."
Unfortunately, this product does not work well on metal embellies. It tends to pool and dry unevenly so you end up with "clumps" of shimmer. If you like a spotted effect, it's fine, but I prefer the smoother effect of glitter paint on metal.
Also, be careful to cover your work space before spraying since there is really no way to control exactly where the product goes.

I own a large part of the glimmer mist line, older colors, new colors and a couple of the other product lines (Glam & Chalkboard). This is my go to product to add a bit of shimmer wherever I need it. Perfect with masks and I am so glad that Tattered Angels had developed their own line of masks now to go with the mists. No matter what color or what color shimmer you need, Tattered Angels has a mist that you can use. One thing to note, when they say 'commit to the mist' they mean it! Otherwise, you'll clog the spray line. Give your project a good spray and don't worry about keeping it in a tight little area of your project, its meant to add a burst of color and shimmer, GO FOR IT. If you're worried about getting it everywhere, grab a cardboard shield box big enough for your projects, they are handy.
