If I am understanding your question correctly, yes. All of the dispensers are interchangeable with the cartridges. At least they were two years ago when I was trying out the different cartridge options for what I liked best.. I know I use the red and the blue primarily and I did test a blue cartridge in a red dispenser which worked fine. Since I use both adhesives and it was a hassle changing back and forth, I ended up buying the blue cartridge so they each have their own color coordinated dispenser. Hope this helps.
