Are you ready to take your crafting to a new shimmery, shiny level? This Moonstone Glimmer Paste from Nuvo and Tonic Studios is going to do just that. This paste has a high density of glitter that is so easy to use on projects. Simply use a palette knife for a raised finish or use a soft cloth for a smooth finish. This paste works on a variety of surfaces such as wood, acetate, fabric, glass, and more. The large opening on this 1.7 fluid ounce jar makes it easy to return any unused portion back to the jar. You will love all the extra shimmer and shine this product brings to your crafting world and will want to use it on all your paper crafting, mixed media, and home decor projects!
Once applied and dried this didn't seem to rub off on my fingers when I rubbed it.
It is thicker than I expected and really cool.
Used in this project: Haunted House Halloween Card
The paste dries clear leaving the glitter adhering to your project without it "shedding" it's glitter. I did not use with a stencil as suggested, but managed to spread the paste with a putty knife. Worked out well. A bit messy, but I have fun getting messy. Clean up is not too bad.
Used in this project: "Fresh" fallen snow
I love that this paste reflects back the color that you are putting it on top of. I used it for the first time on a light aqua teal color and it just looks amazing. The consistency of the product is great and didn't warp my cardstock (meaning it is not super wet). Make sure to clean up quickly with any glitter/glimmer paste.
This is a great product. Watch the videos so you can see all the possibilities. FYI: this paste dries really quick, so immediately wash your stencil and palette knife. I have 8 different colors and they're all fabulous! The sparkle and shimmer is amazing and as promised in the videos, it does not rub off. It is a fun, fabulous product.
I am using this on my Christmas cards...works great with stencil for snow. Would also look pretty on any card...adds that extra sparkle, but not too much. Dries quickly and is easy to use. Love!
