I purchased this product because of the price and the fact that I have been unable to find reasonably priced adhesive locally. I scrapbook about 50 pages a month so I use a lot. So far, I am liking the Umbrella Crafts adhesive. It goes on smoothly and seems to adhere items well. I wish there were refills though, I hate throwing away empty tapes. I will purchase this product again.

My order was correct and arrived in a timely manner. However, I found the same product at a local store for 20% less! That was the regular price (not a sale price) so in this case I would have been better to buy at the mall. I have purchased several items from Scrapbook.com that, many times, I could not find any place else and/or I saved money – especially on special sales. So I will continue to shop Scrapbook.com but in the future, check the mall first for the best buy.
I really like the way this product comes out of the dispenser, smooth and precise on long or semi-long lines. Although this is a permanent adhesive, it is movable before it really sets in. What I didn't like about the product was it's use on small items, such as flower die cuts. I found that these often came off of the placement and the dispenser didn't like short lines, thus the 4 out of 5 stars.
The adhesive immediately began the minute I put it to paper. Some others do not start for a quarter inch or so.
The container AND the glue runner inside are identical to Ad tech so I'm wondering what the difference is...Ad tech is messier, and not consistent while you are rolling it...but is the Umbrella any different?
I am in the process of making a baby scrapbook for a friend of mine who is a new mommy and I thought this would be a great opportunity to try this adhesive roller from Umbrella crafts. I LOVE IT!!! Very impressed and I would definitely purchase this product for all my other projects that are waiting in line to be done. :)
I started scrapbooking several years ago and always used double sided photo splits to adhere everything. Since switching to adhesive rollers, I don't know how I ever managed with the photo splits. They were time consuming and messy. These rollers are so easy to use and so quick. They make scrapping so much more fun. I always have them available in my bag.
Great "sticky" adhesive! As it rolls out of the dispenser did doesn't "gum up" the sides of it. This is my new favorite adhesive, the search is over! :)

I've never used these before but they were on sale so I bought a bunch. I'm glad I did because they do work well with quick projects. The tape seems to strengthen the longer it stays on the project, but does provide time for minor adjustments if done promptly.

Can anyone tell how the scrapbook tape runners compare to the tomboy permanent runners? Which do you prefer and which is the most positionable?

Does this last long term??? I've made tons of cards over the years & used to use AdTech adhesive or the ATG gun---but I hate it. All of the cards that I made over 2 years are falling apart. None of the glue is sticking. I started using Scotch's liquid glue but sometimes I'd like to use a quicker runner adhesive. I just don't want all my hard work to fall apart. Thanks

I used this adhesive to make several layouts and all of them are now falling apart. I have had to go back in with Kokuyo adhesive, which I have never had problems with, and re-adhere the layouts. I will not be using this again.

I have had trouble with these sticking and/or just not working at all. I asked about it before. Where are my question and the answer? I bought two of the 6 packs, a few of them did not work at all, they were stuck and wouldn't move. Soe worked for awhile then got stuck too. Will you replace them? Thanks.

I have had trouble getting the product out of the dispenser and with it not sticking long term. I made several layouts with this glue and they are all falling apart about 6 months later. The adhesive dots are still "there" on the paper but all dried out and not sticky anymore.

I have bought them many times and have not had problems with this brand. Some brands are quirky. It helps after you run a row of the adhesive, you sort of pull to the left or right. I find the roll sometimes moves to one side causing the adhesive to stick to the side of the case. I alternate which direction I pull it and it tends to keep the adhesive in the center of the wheel. Another problem is they may have been damaged by being stored in excessive heat. Another idea; I would mail the whole mess back to Scrapbook.com and ask for a refund. They are a great company to work with!
