If you are an avid crafter that loves stamping, ink blending and mixed media projects, you need a durable craft mat. The Water Media Mat by Waffle Flower Crafts along with the Brush Holder Duo is a perfect fit for all of your crafting needs. The entire mat measures 17.25" x 10.75" with a work surface of 12" x 9". This mat also features 12 reservoirs that measure 1" x 1" each. The mat is non-slip, making it perfect to use on any table. This mat is silicone, non-stick, easy to clean, waterproof and heat resistant from 49 degrees to 446 degrees Fahrenheit(-45 degrees to 230 degrees Celsius). This mat is made of 100 percent food grade and oven safe silicone. The non-reflective matte white finish allows you to see the true tones of the colors you are using in your project. This mat can be used for many different techniques such as ink blending, ink transfer, water coloring, stamping, heat embossing, hot gluing, acrylic painting, and so much more! When using the media may, some inks and mediums may stain the mat, but this will not change the properties of the mat. You can a small amount of your desired medium on the back of the mat to test for staining. While the mat is flexible, it should be stored flat to maintain its shape and flat surface. To clean your media mat, use a damp, lint-free cloth, microfiber towel or baby wipe to clean off any inks or paints. Apply gentle pressure when cleaning the mat. The Brush Holder Duo from Waffle Flower Crafts is designed to work perfectly with the Water Media Mat and the Waffle Flower Blending Brushes (sold separately). The holders feature grooves that the bottom that fit perfectly in the mat's reservoirs and can be placed horizontally or vertically on your mat. Each cup features a wavy top that is perfect designed to hold wet brushes. The holders are coated in an anti-static solution that means it easy to clean with a dampened cloth.
I LOVE this mat! I love it for watercoloring, ink smooshing, and it serves as a great backdrop for taking photos of my cards. I love that it's heat resistant so I don't have to worry about the mat warping or buckling up while I'm heat embossing. I used my hot glue gun and the excess just peels right off. I can't say enough good things about this mat!

Whilst I love the design and texture, its a shame it doesn't fit a 12x12 layout, as this is traditionally the Size most scrapbookers use. I was also disappointed it stained, and I was only using distress ink. Feel I have to be careful when using it, thought it would replace my craft mat

This is so cool! But, this isn't a toy, it's my new workhorse for water media. Go ahead and get WET! The large indented space accommodates a generous 9x12 sized paper and will keep your wet where is should be and not running off across your worktable. The twelve smaller indented spaces are sized to fit our tiny ink cubes, a scribble of water soluble crayons, inks, or any other water media you want to keep separate or mix and easily use. I LOVE Silicone! This mat is 100% Silicone so, it's not only waterproof, it's also heat proof so grab your heat tool to dry your work between layers. This is a game changer for working wet. You're going to love this tool!

I learned about this product by watching a video on YouTube with Jennifer McGuire. It looked so easy when she was using it to blend colors on a card that she was creating. I used it myself and it is absolutely amazing for holding the paper in place and it cleans up nicely. I would recommend it to anyone !

I LOVE this mat oh so much! It's mat so it's perfect for step by step photos or filming the crafting process. Easy to clean, even the scrapbook.com hybrid inks! I am in love, really the best buy! After cleaning I keep it in the original package.

I have had my mat for over a month and love it. HOWEVER... I used some pink and lavender colored ink cubes the other day, and now my mat is terribly stained :( I loved being able to take photos of my artwork on a bright white background. I�ve tried everything to remove the stains, but have had absolutely no success. Does anyone have suggestions on how to remove stains from ink cubes?

Is this mat good for stamping clear stamps om paper? Does I give it a cushion? thanks
