I bought this after seeing the video about it. I didn't really think I needed this as I have a glass mat that I use when blending and watercolor. But I was wrong!! I love this mat!! It is small enough to use on my cluttered worktop, keeps my paper from sliding around and is easy to clean up. I wanted to do more blending for backgrounds but had difficulty doing this. But this mat makes it easy!!! For something I didn't think I needed, I now cannot live without it!!
I think my favorite thing about this mini media mat is that it keeps my paper in place no sliding around.
My least favorite thing is I should have purchased the bigger size as an A2 sized card fits perfectly but if you are trying to use a stencil it makes it a little more challenging.
All I can say is, Why did I wait so long to purchase this! This media mat is the best. If you do a lot of blending, as I do because I'm learning and need to practice, this mat is the best. Your paper doesn't move while you're blending and makes a huge difference. A total game changer for me.
