This is one of those tools I thought was not a necessity. But, since I've bought it, it is one of the first tools I reach for. Out of curiosity I wanted to see if it would punch a hole in one of the Prima pencil holders I purchase and it did with such ease even my hubby was impressed. I love the guides on it as it lets you punch even holes and takes a lot of the guess work out of it. I'm soo glad I bought this tool!

i JUST got my crop a dile in the mail two days ago. let me tell you, i think there may be holes in everything i own! i can't believe how easy it is to use. i would highly recommend this one in particular beczuse it comes with 400 eyelets! what a bargain! everything is in it's own little compartment- the color is hip and stylish. buy it!

I definitely had a bit of a learning curve (all of about 30 minutes), but once I got the hang of it I was deliberately punching holes in anything I could get my hands on to attach an eyelet! I had made a dozen gift tags for Christmas gifts and popped an eyelet into each one quick, quick, quick.

Veteran scrappers who have lived without this ingenious tool will agree with me when I say it's a basic for scrapbooking success and professional-looking projects. I used to have major stress when it came to setting eyelets on my nearly finished layouts. My nerves could hardly handle the possibility of my eyelets not setting properly and the noise of my hammering. I ALWAYS get a beautifully set eyelet with the Crop-A-Dile and have set eyelets in album covers, clear plastic and metal pieces. To have it come in green is just the best. The tool can't reach all areas of your layout so don't get rid of your anywhere punch, yet.

I had been wanting to buy the Crop-A-Dile for a while, the only thing that had persuaded me from getting it was that the tool was in PINK. No offense to all you pink lovers out there- I myself like the color pink, just not on everything. Then, I found this baby in this great funky color! Loved it! I knew then, that nothing was stopping me from getting this great product. It comes in this great carrying case and it also comes with 400 eyelets! How cool is that?!?!? I've never used eyelets before because when I've gone shopping for eyelet setters I always find these kits with hammers and setting mats, so that you won't ruin your furniture---SCARY!!! I found this great product and it sets the hole and the eyelet all with one tool, no hammers and no messing up your workspace!!! It's so easy to use and it comes with a guide for eyelet sizes and tools. EASY!!! I loved this tool when I first heard about it and NOW that I OWN it in such a bright fun color makes me even more happy!!!!

This tool has come in handy! I was always interested in the Crop-A-Dile, but never purchased because I wasn't sure it would be worth the price. Well, I can say that it has definitly been worth the price. Now when I make altered CDS and altered tin boxes I can embellish them properly. The Crop-a-Dile will punch a hole right through CDS & aluminum. It also punches holes through leather and 3 mm thick chipboard like the BAZZILL chipboard pieces.
This set here is nice becuase you get the handy container to store the Crop-A-Dile unit plus you get 400 eyelets.
I would recommend this to a friend or fellow craft maker.

I was so excited when I finally got mine in the mail. It's so handy and with all the brads it was a great deal. It punches through everything and allowed me to finally give my financee his hammer back I think he liked it more than me at that point!!!
Although I wish I had tested it out before I bought because on my first project I realized that it's kinda limited as to where it can be used on my lo's.

This is the best item out there for setting eylets and punching holes. What in the world did we do before this bad boy came out. No more hammer and hole punch with the setter and the mat underneath. This is the one stop crop setter. I recomened this for any crop hopper or just to sit on a nearby corner of your desk.

Does the carrying case hold more than the 100 eyelets that are included?

No. This does not punch a hole for a brad. We R Memory Keepers does have a brad tool though. Here is a link on this site...
How do you use the crop-a-dile if it does not come with the washers to go with the eyelets? I don�t see that they are sold separately.

My kit only came with four packs of eyelets. There were no backs in those packs, nor in the case. I am not aware of a way to just use the eyelets. If there is such a technique, then please advise or send me the missing backs, as they are not sold separately.
Hello. This product comes with the popular Crop-A-Dile, a clear case with a pink handle, and 100 eyelets. The eyelets contain both the front and back sides, which are crimped together as shown in the product video.
