Yes, I'm hooked! This is a great little tool. It easily and cleanly punches/cuts a line or circle or whatever along my cardstock (80 wt). I can draw in lines for a fake sewing look or easily sew in some baker's twine for a great look. Since I don't have a sewing machine and don't even know how to use one, this is a real find! I'll certainly be buying some of the other cartridges for different styles of cutting. I highly recommend you get the We R Memory Keepers - Sew Easy - Piercing Mat and the We R Memory Keepers - Sew Easy - Ruler along with it. This gives you a self-healing surface for the piercing and running the piercer tool along the ruler gives you a straight and steady hand.
Having completed many cross stitch projects (both small & large) over the years, I was excited to see this new product for scrap book projects. I love everything about it!!!! Make sure you get the pink mat. You may think you can use your self healing mat or quilt mat but there is a big difference. The pink mat has much more of a foam base. The texture of the pink mat makes using the tool & various attachments much easier. Well worth the investment.
I love this thing. It's a great way to add stitched to your pages in any shape or direction. It is easy to use. I recommend that you buy the mat that comes with, I tried a mouse pad and it doesn't work very well. I also recommend that you buy the needles, they are blunt and work well with paper. I was delighted to discover that you can store the needles in the handle, so convenient.

I have used this a couple of times since receiving the whole set in my stocking for Christmas (wonderful Husband). I think it works great. I love the look of stitching but don't own a sewing machine and wouldn't use one, so this helps me get the look without investment. I use the mat with it and have tried it on all thicknesses of paper, all with great results. Although I have all of the different heads, I don't think they are needed because you have several options with each one. I think for the price and capabilities, it can't be beat.
That was some commerical jingle some time ago but I sing it when I use this tool. I have been a fan of sewing on my LO's but I am too lazy to thread my machine and getting tired of poking holes with a hole puncher.
This makes it a lot easier and has changable heads that do some really neat stuff. Makes you want to collect them all.
I just recommend if you're doing a pattern to trace it out and press down hard and move slowly. That is unless you just want a jagged up sewn look!

Love how easy this tool makes it to add hand stitching to all paper projects. I detest punching one hole at a time to design fun stitching on my pages so I LOOVE just rolling the specially designed hole punches around. I bought every detachable head for all the different stitch options and love them all. This is a must have if you like to hand stitch!
This gadget is fun and easy to use. The heads must be very popular as they are almost always on back order. This makes beautiful cards even more lovely. I am glad I got the mat that goes with this. I don't want to stitch on paper using my sewing machine so this is the perfect alternative. Plus it's easy to take to card making events. I would never cart my sewing machine somewhere.
I recommend that anyone buying this product line have someone with experience demo the proper way to use these tools. After having someone from We R Memory Keepers show me the right way to use this tool, I have used it very successfully. I have six heads and have used them with excellent results. Go ahead and give it a try! ! !
The piercing tool not very sturdy. Need to apply some pressure to see the dents.
I have only used this twice so far, but just love it. I was able to mark and stitch around my page, just like I've seen on so many others' layouts. I'll be using this little tool a lot! The stitch pattern is very easy to follow, although I highly recommend the piercing mat as well. I can hardly wait to get the other heads for it, to sew other designs. I'm so glad someone finally thought of this!
