I had been waiting a whole year for this dispenser since it was introduced at winter CHA. I knew I had to have it! Well, it arrived and I was a bit disappointed. The tape does not stick to the lip of the dispenser and it was a bit finicky to put them in place. It is nice to have the tapes in sight and ready to use.
I am addicted to Washi tape. Seriously addicted. When I saw the W R Memory Keepers Washi Tape Dispenser I was intrigued.
It claims to hold 30 rolls. It probably would ... of the skinniest tape.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this product. I am hoping they will create an extension (perhaps that attaches to the handle) for more rolls. I have very few of the skinny rolls, even so, I was able to get about 22 rolls loaded. It is sublime ... having so many rolls displayed and at my fingertips!
I have my washi tape on the spools&fed onto the cutting edge. Othertaped--Tim Holtz,etc. I also store in the basket feature. They're no longer getting lost in a drawer. There is also room for items such as scissors, tweezers,other tools behind each cutting blade. AA+++
I really love this thing, but mine doesn't turn easily...anyone else with this problem? How do I fix it??? Other than that, it is awesome :)
The dispenser is so handy! You can see your tape readily and it swivels to make your tape easily available. The only thing I don't like is the the tape won't stick to the cutting edge to stay in place.....but I can live with that. :)
I was thrilled when I saw this product coming out and ordered it immediately. Unfortunately, the tape does not stick to the edge where it is cut. This means that you have to start the tape each time - trying to find the edge. Not worth it.
My tapes do not adhere to the dispenser so a flap just hangs there. Also, I find myself having to remove the tapes a lot so I can visualize how much I'm going to use. I do like the spindle in the middle for stacking.
I love this washi tape dispenser. As far as I've seen this is the only one out there. I just wish it would hold more because I have WAY to much washi tape to fit in here!
Love this dispenser. It keeps my tape handy & able to use easily! Love the post that allows you to put additional holders together!
I thought this would be a great addition to my scrapbooking. I didn't think the purchase through. While it is a very nice product, sturdy and it works great the edges of my tape are left with a serrated edge rather than a straight edge. Also depending on the quality of the tape you also can end up with a distorted end rather than a straight one.
If I am using a large piece to as a border I can wrap the edges onto the back of the paper. If I want to use a small piece my personal preference is not to have the serrations show. I like to 'frame' my pictures in and I don't like the edges not being straight.
So..the product is well constructed. The bottom has a non-skid mat so the unit doesn't move when you spin it or when you pull the tape. Overall it's a great product, just not for me!!

Is this dispenser stackable? The video said you should check the packaging.

Meaning does it have the screw in the bottom. There are specific dispensers that only work for the stacking post.
