I love this punch board. I also have the envelope punch board. I have made a couple of dozen of these pinwheels for a baby shower and will make lots more. I love them and they work great. I also got the kit that goes with the board to make the pinwheels. I recommend this to everyone.
Pinwheels come together so quickly and easily with this board. The mechanism to punch the edges (for rounded corners) and cut the pinwheel shape is all included and you can create pinwheels from 3" all the way up to 10"!

For my husband's 70th birthday we are celebrating "fiesta style" so I made 50 pinwheels in 3 sizes using Mexican inspired papers. I have attached them to dowels and will be scattering them among the flowers in our raised garden beds for added color and fun in the backyard. My favorites are the large ones that use 12x12 paper but the 9x9 and 6x6 are cute too. I made double pinwheels using 2 papers for each one and combining them. The directions were easy to follow and it only took me 2 afternoons to complete them all. I love the We Are Memory Keepers punch boards and use them often on my various projects. In fact, these were so easy I'm planning on making some with Christmas paper to decorate my grandkids gifts. And a pinwheel wreath would be cute too. I'm having too much fun!
This punch board is very easy to use (and I am not good with moving parts!}.The pinwheels are so pretty. The attachment kit that is sold separately is pretty necessary. There is a cap that goes on the part that you put the pinwheel on that is not terribly attractive, but I just stuck a bit of bling on it,
