Another great pet page and such a funny story behind it too. Reminds me of our cat and my dd's cat except instead of the island it is the dining room table.
O.M.G!!! A layout for ME? I LOVE it! He is so beautiful and so is his story. I've had two OKs myself and they had the most wonderful personalities! I'm so honored to have an OK layout in my name! Thanks so much, Karen - this made my day! And "Thunder Kitty" - Love that name!

Love this Lo. Animals are so cute. Has your friend, the cat lover, ever read the book Dewey? There is a children's version too. It's about a cat who lived in the library in Iowa. I loved it.

Sharon (MississippiQueen), this one's for you! After you PMd me about how O'nge Kitty has impacted your daily life, ;D I had to do another page about him just for you!
O'nge Kitty adopted my friends Lin and Jon when their son, a California Hwy. Patrolman, found him near a garbage Dumpster. OK was a kitten then, half-starved to death. Their beloved Thunder Kitty (TK), had gone to feline heaven a few months prior, and their son felt they needed a new furry friend.
The island in the kitchen is O'nge Kitty's "safe zone" from Marty McFly, his favorite frienemy. This granite-topped island is HUGE! I swear, you could play football on it! I'll post a LO about that island someday...it is a running joke. Seriously, if an item accidently makes its way to the center of the island, you need a special tool to retrieve it!
Thus, to their chagrin, O'nge Kitty uses the counter/island as a bridge to safely avoid an unwanted wrestling match with Marty. He only has to touch ground once to make it safely to his food bowl on the counter in the utility room. I took this photo of O'nge Kitty while he batted at Marty who was on the floor, trying to engage him in battle.
p.s. All the pretty flowers were part of a RAK from Krista {puppet} when I won a challenge she hosted a couple of months back. Thank you, Krista!
