Ooh this was a fun one. A little spookier than I usually create, but I enjoyed making this one. I did the watercolour panel in a very similar way to my I Put A Spell On You creation I shared earlier. I've used a light watercolour paper with a lovely deckled edge as the base and did the watercolour background with Distress Crayons in Fossilized Amber and Peeled Paint. I used a little black soot around the edges to grunge it up a bit. I then masked off an area to add Mica to create a big moon and used Harvest Moon and Flickering Candle Mica Stains to add the shimmer and sparkle. I used wide Mint Tape to create the large mask. I've use Honey Bee Metallic Gold Ink to stamp the background cornrows and VersaFine Clair to create the cornrows in the foreground. I stamped the cornstalks one at a time and the scarecrow is from the same Whimsy Stamps set called Sleepy Hollow. I created my own stencil using a mylar shim to add the bats with Ranger Distress Black Texture Paste. I talk about this process in my YouTube video if you want more details. I'm Crafty Kiwi Mama on all socials. The fabulous Peek-a-Boo window is from an Easter die set from Whimsy Stamps called Savior Die Set. It reminded me of those hedgerow Peek-a-Boo windows I encountered in drives on English B Roads.
