Wow, K! What fun!!! I like that you scrapped your Scrap crew!!! So sad to here about the store. It feels like I am one of the few that still has a LSS left!!! Although, I always wonder for how long. I thought I heard her talking about something just the other day that sounding like either moving or downsizing the space. I moslty just shop there and have done only 1-2 classes, but the owner is soooo wonderful that she lets me pop in anytime and she will help you with ANYTHING. She gave me a "vintage doggie embellie" (it a funny little "doggy scoop bag "Lab tested" (get it??), we can't tell how old, but their old) for free just cuz she knows I'm obsessed with scrappin all things doggy!!! So sweet!!! *Sigh

I love the layout. And I know how it feels to have your favorite store close.. Out LSS close over three years ago. But we get together once a month at a local church and scrapbook from 8 to midnight. we also made a web page were we can all talk to each other. and share our scraobook pages and when our next crop is gonna be.

I love it!! the design is awesome- i really like the swirl/flower corner! Sorry about your LSS, my ONLY one closed here in May. Thankfully i have plenty of all the box stores, of coarse thats why the LSS closed. Anyway, great LO!!!

You must live in a town like mine. So sad to lose your only store. Ours is struggling and seldom gets in new stuff so most of my shopping is done on line anyway, but it is still nice to have a place to go for cs etc. And it sound like you are losing more than just a store, but a community activity. So sorry. But you did get this fabulous layout and a happy birthday.

Our LSS is also closing...so I know how you feel!! Now I have to travel forever to get to another one..seems like my only option is going to be to buy online in future except sb.com does not deliver to Africa..so I am going to have to explore other avenues!!

Beautiful layout and what a perfect photo and theme for these papers. So sorry to hear that your LSS is closing, and that it's the only one around. My all-time fav lss is closing in August, too. I'm really bummed about it. There is still another one nearby, but it's just not the same. Happy belated bday!

I can so relate to your situation!! So sad... When we first moved here 5 yrs ago, there were 4 LSS. They all closed one by one (sigh) so I didn't enjoy any of them for long. Now, all I have is AC Moore and Michaels (and this site, of course). But there is nothing like seeing and touching goodies. You've done a fabulous job creating this awesome LO. At least you'll have some wonderful memories.

I know how you feel. I moved away from my favorite store with so many people who were so nice to me. I always looked forward into going in there and everyone knew me by name and would chat with me for hours even when I didn't buy anything! :0) I'm sorry you're losing your store. :0( Great lo, I'm sure you have a ton of memories there!
