A photo that I took on Sunday of Portland Headlight. Also in the background I placed a picture of my favorite roses, the Rugosa, which were plentiful in the park on this day! This is Maine's oldest lighthouse and also the second oldest in the country. It was commissioned by George Washington in 1787. If I had my way and weather permitting, I would sit on Maine's rocky coast all day long and listen to the sea crashing against the rocks. Thanks for looking!
