I have always wanted a good photo of the blooms of a Saguaro, our state flower, however the blooms are usually 15 feet in the air so then I try to get a photo I get bottoms and sides. A friend called me to say she found one only about 7 feet off the ground. I tossed a ladder in the car and took off. The cactus was in the median of a busy street so plenty of folks saw me take out a ladder and climb up. Other complications? MANY bees got there before me and a small hole in a rocks at the bottom of ladder had me thinking snake, and I have vertigo. Worth all the risks!!
