This week I wanted to try out some of the Invisables line from Heidi Swapp. It's a pretty cool concept and very technique-based. Basically, it's a series of paper products (paper and chipboard) that are white with a clear gloss coating on them in various designs. The idea is that you can add color to the paper. The parts of the paper that are printed with the gloss coating will resist color, so it will reveal the design. Pretty sweet, eh?
If you're a stamper, it's the same concept behind the stamping resist technique (stamping and clear embossing and then adding ink or color over top).
Anyhow, I made a super girlie card with pink and magenta. Definitely a bit out of my usual style, but still super fun. I think I liked the inking up the paper part the best. :)
