May thru July is the busy birthday season among my family and friends, so I'm getting a head start getting them made up in advance this year!

The shape for this card came from a file provided by a talented user on the MTC site, and it makes such a fun card shape. The flowers are handmade - it was just by sheer luck that the paper rose made from small Prima flowers was a perfect match for the hand-crocheted flower. Leaves are handcut, stamped in white with text stamp, and embossed with Cuttlebug Herringbone folder. Patterned paper is an old but favorite Daisy D's, orange satin ribbon is American Crafts, and crystal swirls are Prima.

The second card is for my sister's birthday - I love the BG Origins papers and wanted to use them. Then I found this picture on the internet and it was perfect for this card. The chipboard frame is Tattered Angels, colored with Distress Ink and clear German Glass Glitter. I used one of the tiny clay roses in the Prima pearl flourish in the center of the small rose made from small Prima flowers, and inked the leaves to match. Cotton lace ribbon from the dollar store.

The colors on this third card don't translate as well in a photo as IRL - it's a beautiful soft coral with bright blue - the colors in the vintage image inspired the whole card. Patterned papers are Graphic 45 (blue prints) and an older MyMindsEye (coral pattern). The frame is Tattered Angels, colored with Distress Inks and clear German Glass Glitter, pearl flourish and tiny roses from Prima, cotton lace from dollar store, and dyed seam binding for the shabby ribbon/bow.

TFL!
