Journaling reads:This was one of those days that will remain in my memory forever…nothing special or different…it was a Sunday after church. We were all still in our church clothes and Shanna was cute and funny and playful…we danced…we laughed…we read…we hugged. Not a special occasion but a special day simply because we are family and an ordinary moment was magical and memorable. It was one of those dream days where everything is wonderful and no one is in tears. As a parent, you dream of those perfect days when everything is right with the world and everyone is happy, healthy and together…and this was one of those days. — August 6, 1995
