The border at the bottom beneath the red acer is where the one clump of pendulous sedge grass used to be that was bigger than I am. It took 2 of us to dig it out. It now contains a leucothera, a pieris, a dwarf rhododendron, a lemon balm, a blue geranium, 2 ferns and 4 foxgloves. And a million pendulous sedge babies that keep coming up every time I turn around.
