This is the first pic from day 3 of our Arizona/Grand Canyon trip back in 2014. We got to go "muddin'" for the first time ever in our lives and more than once LOL! Anyway, the sun and raindrops are stamped and the mud splats are hand cut.

Journaling: So… nobody told us that we were planning our trip to Arizona during their “monsoon” season. Thursday evening, while we were at the Grand Canyon, our host Don called and told us not to try to drive on the dirt road going to the ranch. Our little rental car (more renter's remorse) could not handle the mud that had formed during the heavy rain that day. So, we met him at the end of the road and he shuttled us to our cabin in his big truck. We shuttled back and forth like this for the remainder of our time there. I can't say that I cared much for muddin', but we did enjoy the ride time getting to know more about Don. These photos were taken Friday morning as we were preparing to leave for Lake Powell.

Thanks for looking!
