I had a friend over for brunch today, and she offered to help me get my Christmas decorations up. I GLADLY accepted her offer, and so my house is ready for the holidays - about a week and a half later than usual, but who's counting? I'm SO very grateful to her.

While she put up the tree, I hung and decorated my Tim Holtz inspired tag garland. While I thought I'd added enough greenery last year, it's kind of pushing it to say that there actually IS enough. I added 13 tags to it just this year because of the class I taught for my Mom's friends. That means there are now close to 100 tags on it at this point.

It needs another new panel and I think it's probably time to think about a two doorway span with it. Or I could just move it to the long media wall on the other side of the room. But that's a decision for next year.

The important thins is that it's up for 2017, which means that at the Gent house, the holidays have officially arrived!
