I made a layered-stenciled background piece many years ago but didn't know what to do with it. I thought it worked well once I die-cut it and inlaid the pieces to make this quilt card. If interested, you can see the original gallery post here:

I wanted to add a second layer to the daisy die-cut, but I couldn't get all those petals to line up so I bought Tim Holtz's Heavy Weight Matte Black Cardstock. It worked great, and it's gorgeous almost like velvet.

CARD:
4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches
Gina K. base-weight black cardstock (card base and die-cut quilt frame)
Bazzill Basics Gold Leaf (gold shimmer cardstock)
Layered Stencil background (Golden Fluid Acrylicsmostly Raw Umber; dry brushed highlights with Titan Buff, Quinacridone Azo God, and Iridescent Gold Deep Fine; wiped off Nickle)

LDRS Creative Diamond A2 Cover Plate
Die-Namites Daisy Bunch die
Ranger/Tim Holtz Heavy Weight Matte Black cardstock (125 lb.)
