Picture 1: This a tiny cove just as you enter Depot Bay. This day the King Tides came in at 11AM and were cresting at 12 ft or more It was foggy & drizzling, cold temp too.
Picture 2: A close up of the rocks in #1 and how the water swirled over & around them. (I'm nuts about swirling water, water sprays, and waves)
Picture 3: This is called Rocky Creek Park and this is looking North Whales love this area too.
Picture 4. Same RCP and the waves hitting those volcanic rocks. Can you imagine what those houses must cost?
Picture 5: This is RCP too but looking south now. That tree is shaped bending eastward due to the prevailing winds. Most trees on the coast were like this.

Picture 7: This cutie is sitting on this sign that proclaims that it is a nesting area. I wonder if he/she is looking for one!
Picture 8: I took this inside the restaurant as the sun peaked out.
Picture 9: Saturday morning as we were packing to leave. Nice & sunny and this shows the tides growing as high tide was an hour away.
