I am remembering all the fun, spirited
times we had this summer.
We went to the beach , the pool,
the amusement parks,
the library, the book store,
the zoo, Monticello, and the movies.
We read books, played board
games, played with the
Little People, watched TV,
ate too much ice cream,
and Oreos. You avidly
continued to show your love of
Spiderman by adding to your collection
of tee shirts, a hat, beach towels, slippers, pjs,
and sunglasses. And through it all,
you remained uniquely you.
And now tomorrow you start your first day
Of all day Kindergarten. I will miss you and of course shed
Some tears, but I know you will remain Uniquely You."
