OMG...I love this! Yes...getting older does mean getting smarter and not caring what anyone thinks. The important factor in -20F weather is to be WARM and besides - flat hair is in style! ;-)

I wear hats when I'm ice fishing, but that's about it. Warm hats anyway -- I'll wear a sun hat sometimes on the lake. Cute pic of you!

Judy, I think you look fabulous! And I'd love to have that thick hair!!!! Funny I went out today...it was about 15 degrees and I wore a hat! My whole life my mama would say, 'put on a hat' and I would NEVER, EVER! Maybe it's age; maybe it was fear of wig flying off my head; but I was happy wearing my wool hat today! Ya happy mama??

Made me giggle too! I'm the same way...but I'm going to have to change. Some friends of ours talked us into going to an ice fishing contest! I've been shopping for a hat and its all coming back to me why I dont wear one. Not only do I look like a dork, but it makes me feel somewhat claustrophobic.

This made me giggle only because it sounds just like me (with the exception of all the cowgirl stuff you do)! I hate a hat, never wear a hat! This last cold spell though I've snatched Uriah's hat. Only to wear if I have to run outside and no one can see me. DH said I look like a thug with it on, lol....it has a skull on it, plaid at that! The funny thing is, I've discovered that I AM warmer with it on! Guess I'm growing old...I mean up! =}
