What can I say about Zots? I just love the little critters! They are just right for those little things that are too small for a runner. I like to use them for buttons, flowers, etc... I have heard that some people have had problems with them coming undone, but I have gone through a couple boxes now and have not had that problem - maybe they had a bad batch? Most of those folks were recommending Glue Dots - I have gotten some of those too to try and have not really noticed a difference. I like how they come on a roll - easy to apply. I usually just put the button (or whatever) on the Zot and then apply it to the page or card. I would think the ONLY downside is that if you drop them, you can loose them since they are clear. LOVE THEM!!

I used this roller for quite a while before I switched to the Therm O Web roller. I do like the product, but I DON'T like what a pain it is to refill. I liked the adhesive itself. It was permanent and did stay in place. When the roller was working well, it was awesome. BUT when it comes time to refill it, you have to roll it just right to fit it in the dispenser and cut the little tail. I am a very common sense person, but this part of the product really irritated me. It seemed every time I thought I got the refill in, it would get hung up on itself and I would have to start over (seemed like a lot of waste to me!). Not to mention all the little adhesive "goobers" that pile up.

I have to say I really like my Xyron 510. I have had it for a few months now and am really glad that I got this size. It is large enough to put a few items through at a time, but you can still put the little stuff through it too. If I am doing little items, I will usually send other things through too, so as not to waste the adhesive. I have found this machine easy to use and very easy to refill. The only negatives I have found are: 1. The refills are rather expensive (so try not to waste that adhesive!) 2. Very small items can get hung up if you are not careful about putting them through. 3. Sometimes I have adhesive around the edges of my items even though I rub my fingers along the edges before removing the plastic covering (as recommended by Xyron). An adhesive remover usually takes care of this. Overall though - I love it!

I started out using a different adhesive that just wasn't working for me (but that's another review!). I really like the Therm O Web Memory Runner. It goes on very smooth and is easy to apply. It does stay put - I am on my second refill and have not had problems with it coming undone. I think the cost is very fair (compared to some adhesives!). I like the fact that the little "head" is protected from dust and dirt, but the little cap that swings out of the way can get in the way sometimes. It is also VERY easy to refill - LOVE that! The only other con (which really is just getting used to the product) is that you seem to have to hold it at just the right angle to get it to roll smoothly. Not really a con - just me getting used to my roller!
