The foam nuggets are great to use with tweezers to paint a small area. The only disadvantage is when you are painting over something. For instance, I was trying to paint over a tag with light green paint that was originally red. I found that these didn't work as well as my foam paint applicators that came with the MM paints. The MM foams has smoother, thicker coverage with the paint. However, if you're working with naked chipboard that doesn't have the smooth factory finish, they work great!
