Questions & Answers

  • Dear Scrapbook Group, I bought the "Deep Red Wings Set" cling stamp set from you not that long ago, and, as I am new to this stamping, inking, ing, etc., I want you to know that I really adore all your info, as well as products. Now, for my question. When I received the Wings Set Stamp it looked great, except for the fact that it was all in one piece!!! I'm sure that's not a problem for more advanced crafters. However, I am not. I saw a video saying to leave 1/4" all around any stamp to be cut. I did try, but this set didn't give me any room. What I'm asking you is, help, please? Your website is really fantastic because when I need to know how to do something I can always find it at your place. Thank you for that. That's the reason I purchased items from you. Again, thank you, and if you could give me any advice on what I should do now, buy another set, try again, hope for the best. Please let me know. Sincerely, Susan D. • Hi, Susan,
I bought the same set, and I was able to cut the wings. One of the wings was very close, but I still managed it. I used a pair of Fiskars heavy duty scissors, used to cut thicker chip board. Hope this helps. Good luck. By: cajunqueen12 (05-May-15) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • I also bought this stamp. I looked at the spacing of the wings and determined that it was best not to cut them apart due to spacing. I was disappointed that I could not cut them all apart as well. Best to ink up the wings you want, color them as desired and fussy cut them out and attach to project.
