Questions & Answers

  • I am having the hardest time with this powder! I’m using the same ink, heat gun and paper I use for my other powders which all have great results. This powder never seems to dry right-all the glitter blows away and I’m left with a small amount of blue. I have tried heating from behind and layering another paper on top, neither have worked. Any advice?   By: CarrieTwig (29-May-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Try shaking the jar well before pouring it onto the Embossing ink or empty the contents out on a sheet of folded paper and pour the contents back in the jar. The tinsel is glitter mixed with embossing powder and the tinsel/glitter rises to the top & the embossing powder settles on the bottom after long periods of time. A Ranger Craft tool is best for these type of powders as it doesn’t blow the glitter around compared to other heat tools because it's heat is slow and steady. Keep the tool about 6” from the paper when heating and you can move closer as the powder begins to melt or heat it from underneath if you have a heat tool that blows the glitter around. I hope these tips help! By: Ranger Ink (01-Jun-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
