There are negative spaces within the design for placing a sentiment. This 3D embossing folder is compatible with leading die cutting and embossing machines (sold separately).   This has become my favorite embossing folder, especially for spring. I recent saw that Susanbcards had used it and fell in love with it.
  So many possibilities for card making and junk journals.
