Have used this product for several years and have never had a problem with it staying stuck to the rubber stamp or not clinging to my acrylic block or Tim Holtz stamping platform. This is what you need if you want to buy and use unmounted rubber stamps.
I couldn't find a solution to my unmounted stamp problem until I shopped here. I had read some reviews that recommended the 1/8th sickness over the 1/16th. That was all I had to go on and that never makes me feel comfortable. Sigh of relief. I may try the 1/16th when I run out of this size, but I am convinced this product solves my unmounted stamp problem.
I have carved my own stamps for about fifteen years or so. It's fun and I can make what I need when I need it. Fairly cheap too. I use rubber from the hardware store and
a linoleum cutter. Some leather stamping tools can work with it too(beveler).
But this also works perfect to mount unmounted stamps and use them with acrylic blocks. Saves the cost of shipping wood blocks and makes storage smaller and easier.

this works great for using on red rubber stamps after you take them off the block.

This foam easily converts mounted stamps to cling stamps. The thin works for thick foamed stamps, the thick for any stamps!
First one was a trial and error, but once I got how it worked, it was a breeze. Love that my stamps on wood blocks are now with all my other stamps. Don't forget about them now
perfet for remounting wood stamps!

Is this product black? Or can I stamp the image on the cling side

Mine came grey, not sure why they are black on the website. I never thought about stamping the image on the cling side and I thank you for that great idea! Cheers!

How do I get rubber mounted stamps off the wood block the best way and get them stuck for good on the EZ mount?

I put them in them microwave in 10 second intervals to loosen the glue then just pulled the stamp from the wooden block.

I use this CLING foam to mount Rubber stamps, that i have removed from wooden blocks and the foam they used back then. This is CLING foam that will stick to a stamping platform or an acrylic block. So if you buy unmounted Rubber stamp images or you want to un mount your rubber stamps from wood blocks, this is the product to use. I buy the 1/8" thick product. hope this helps. Teresa
