This package contains 30ml of Creative Expressions Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Sparkles, Highlights Molten Gold, designed by Jamie Rodgers. This powder is contains larger mica particles which produces an exceptionally shimmering finish. This product can be used on its own or sprinkled over other coloring mediums (sold separately) to give a stunning sparkly finish. Simply tap some of the product onto your cardstock and spritz with water and the amazing colors will appear. This product can be used for card making, scrapbooking, and mixed media projects. It can be used as a paint to add highlights to your projects. This product is acid free.
This product is glitz galore. I love the look and that you can add as little or as much as you like. I immediately tried this on a multi colored alcohol ink item done on photo paper. If you have not used photo paper before it has a glass like finish with the beautiful colors. The Molten Gold totally added another dimension of stunning. With that said however, I was not prepared for the glitter/sandy finish when it dried, hence the 4 stars. I was thinking it would be a smooth finish so I learned something about using the product. I took a soft, dry brush and gently removed excess and it improved the feel somewhat. This will not deter me from using the product as it is a great way to sparkle up your project.
