I bought 3 sets of blues. All of these colors work great with all of the projects I make.
For such small ink pads, they really pack a punch. I'm giving 4 stars because for me, they don't stamp as well as I would like them to even thought the pads are saturated with ink. They're also darker than I expected. I love the colors, though. These are my favorite colors. They also stain clear stamps a bit, too.

Are these shadow inks? If not what type (dye, pigment, etc) are they?
No, they are not shadow inks, at least not as I know shadow inks. As per the Hero Arts website, they are a blend of pigment and dye ink. HTH.
