I was looking for a stamp to create the look of old book pages and the dual column text really gives that impression. I used Momento cocoa ink to stamp it and then aged the edges of the page with a blender foam-- it created a gorgeous background. The card just came together. I added some 3d flowers, leaves, a sprig, a sentiment on a label, and some faux postage. The possibilities are endless. This will be a staple in my stash. I highly recommend it.
This is a must-have for my craft collection. It can be used for so, so many types of cards.
I'm real pleased with this background stamp. The wording is all snippets from a newspaper, to me, more than a novel because of the columns being there, side by side, but I don't have a problem with this because a lot of it will be covered up. It will also be good for mixed media work. This is a very good-quality stamp. Hero Arts is a quality producer of rubber stamps. I'm glad that S.com carries such good-quality stamps, etc., from makers I have come to trust for true quality.
I love Hero Arts and the quality of their stamps is wonderful. I just felt compelled to share that I found it difficult to get a clear impression of this particularly detailed stamp without smudging or without part of the stamp not being stamped.
