Hello, I have purchased this Stamp set (and the dies too). There are not 3 butterflies but several layers to constitute a magnificent, very realistic butterfly in the case of standard use of the stamps. Limenitis archippus, also called the Viceroy, is a North American butterfly belonging to the Nymphalidae family. In real life, the butterfly is a little larger than the Stamps: its dimensions are: width 8.1 cm (3.14 inches) and height 5.3 cm (1.96 inches). On the Hero Arts stamp set, the bottom butterfly is the outline one. It measures 7.7 cm wide (2.755 inches) and 3.8 cm high without the antennas (1.18 inches) and with the antennas 4.5 cm (1.574 inches). I hope you enjoy it. (Scrapbook.com asked me to answer to you).
