This is a very nice binder and container for cling stamps.
The casing is good and solid, and closes tightly. It stands very nicely, like a book. It easily holds 4 pages of cling stamps.
There are 2 reasons I withheld the 5th star. First, I was annoyed that when the container is clearly made for the manufacturer's pages, they were sold separately, instead of coming with the case, and that is just wasteful. The other reason is I'm a little leery of the flexible rubbery pieces that loop over to close the binder rings. I have had no trouble with them, but I am anxious to see if they stay in one piece, and if they remain tight, rather than stretching with use. Neither of these, however, would stop me from buying more. For me, they are a perfect size to hold one category or brand of stamp.
Love this I'm using it for metal dies as they can be stored upright so dies don't get bent I use the large binder for stamps
I had my eye on the soft sided ADVANTUS binder by Tim Holtz but this was way more affordable. Sorry Tim but I'm just a poor retired nurse on a fixed income. I only have 1 stamp panel that doesn't fit into this binder by CC and that is by stampers anonymous. I did squeeze it into another stamp container, however.
I much prefer this smaller size than the large size stamp storage binder. It doesn't hold as many stamps as it's 8X11 sister but it is so much easier to handle. I bought two and will be buying more. The reason for only 4 stars is because I am not fond of the plastic hinge. I am easy on things but I'm afraid it may not hold up very long.
Edited to add (2 years later than original review): the plastic hinges are going strong. In fact, I've bought a couple more of these smaller containers. Very pleased and they are certainly sturdy enough. I now give this item a 5-star rating.
I have finally found the perfect storage for stamps! very easy to work with and the binder holds an impressive amount of stamps. well worth the money.

This binder is great. I use it to store my stamps and dies (on a magnetic sheet in a 6x8 page protector) m my. I love it! I’ve used these binders for years. I’ve opened them and the rings and they are as good as new. They are very well made. I’m so pleased with this purchase.
It's the perfect size, I can organize all of my unmounted stamps.
Yes, a must have for me! I put my clear stamps on the front of the page(pages not included, purchase those separately) and then I put a 4x6 piece of magnet sheet on the back and the coordinating die cuts are right there. I use these cases for clear/photo polymer stamps and their coordinating dies and can fit 6 pages/sets comfortably. It's handy that there is clear covering on the outside of the case to put a list of the contents inside.

How many storage pages does this binder hold?

I actually have 4-5-6 sleeves of page protectors/pocket storage sheets in the three small ones I have. It really depends on the size/thickness of the stamps. I also have several of the large size one with a12 magnetic sheets full of dies. In the larger ones with stamps I have 6-10 sheet protector like pockets full of stamps. I've been using them for about 4 yrs. and all the rings are still functioning and intact. Will be purchasing more in the future.

I believe I was able to store 10 to 12 magnetic sheets, but I was storing Spellbinders and Sizzix dies which are very thin. It just depends on what you are storing in them. When I tried to store my Bloom Girl head stamps I was only able to store 4 of them. I hope this information is helpful.

The panels that go inside are Crafter's Companion - EZ Mount Stamp N Storage Panels - Mini - 3-Ring - 4 Pack, sku number nm-ss06.
Assuming I am careful and have access to sharp tools, would I utterly destroy the box itself if I removed the ‘rings’?

Yes, they work with any type of cling mount Stamps. If you purchase the magnetic panels you can have the stamps on one side and matching dies on the other.
