This book is pretty. I bought it to make a book for a friend's wedding. The color in the photo is deceiving. In this photo it has an Ivory look. In actuality it is much darker. It is tan in color so yes I was disappointed in that. It is made well and I will use it anyway as my friend has not seen the photo so therefore does not expect a lighter shade. It will be fine after I an finished with it. I hate to ding it for the color because it is a pretty cover.
While I agree that the cover is lovely, it expands and all that jazz, the "12x12" page covers are more like "11.5x11.5" and it is bloody annoying. At first I thought it was my pages. Perhaps they were...more embellished than normal pages, so I got out sleeves from another book. My pages fit fine in the second book's covers, and when I superimposed the covers the compare, the sleeves from my new scrapbook were NOTICEABLY shorter.
Other than that, it's lovely.
Lovely album with just the touch of formality perfect for a wedding album. Heavy plastic cover to ensure that it remains in pristine condition for a long time.
This album is just beautiful and I specifically chose it for the expanding spine. I'm planning to use this for my wedding pictures and love that I can add as many pages as needed. The champagne color and scroll design is really pretty.
There is a reason this album is usually sold out! It is lovely! Not an off-white, more of a champagne or toast. It is a Pioneer album, which are normally a low-end album, but the quality is right up there! I am impressed by the quality of the vinyl pages!

I love this scrapbook! I signed up to be on the waiting list because my boyfriend and I both agreed this was the best looking one and I got it a few weeks ago. I love it. It's binding is really good. The only thing I am concerned about is if it gets dirty :/ so I guess you just have to be extra careful.
I was really disappointed with the color, tan not ivory!
This is a beautiful album. Although I am using it for personal cards and letters, it looks like a perfect wedding gift.

Yes, however if you don't have the Pioneer Brand, the pages may be of a different size, even though they all say 12 x 12 top loading. Google it for Pioneer refill pages. Also, the Universal pages work well, sometimes with slight adjustments to hold placement (depending on album). Universal pages are found at many Walmart stores.

Can you describe 'post bound'. Are the plastic sheets 'sticky'? My photos are A4 size-English/UK size.

The page protectors are not sticky. They are an open pocket page protector. The album will hold approximately 30 page protectors.

It says "20 top loading pages" -- so this will hold 40 12 x 12 layouts? Or is it 10 sleeves that hold a total of 20 layouts? It only indicates 10 white inserts, so I'm a bit unclear.

It is 10 sleeves that holds 20 layouts. I bought extra sleeves and added them with no problem.
