Use the Antique Linen Distress Paint by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink to achieve a variety of artistic techniques on paper, glass, plastic, wood, metal and other surfaces. Like Ranger's Distress Inks and Stains, this very fluid Distress Paint reacts with water. The 1 oz. bottle has a handy dabber top for ease of application. Made in the USA.
I became intrigued with the Tim Holtz layering stencils and watched his videos about using the Distress paint with them. Now I have tried them and they work well together. This is a great neutral paint that is supposed to work on metal, glass, and other surfaces. It does dry quickly so has to be rinsed off the stencils or blending tools right away.
This paint is terrific….blends well with water. When dry, you can rub your fingers over it and feel nothing…..no dimension to it….totally flat.
Take care when applying because I put too much pressure squeezing the bottle and popped the top off. Green paint made a huge mess on my workspace. Hold it down and press down on the dabber instead of squeezing the bottle. It performs very well.
I love the fact Tim Holtz offers all his distressed products in various mediums....And that all the colors coordinate with the inks. It's great when your making projects besides just a scrapbook page. A++++
All distress paints are easy to work with and the colors are so nice. Great products.
