I really really love the colors, the thing is just that the colors are kinda chalky and weird ? I sort of knew what to expect from this Set because i also have the other Pastel set from Prima Marketing i just was a bit disapointed.
Over all if you dont want a "real" watercolor experience i would say you would like these colors.Like i said:
+nice colors
+price is ok
-weird texture
-bad mixing colors
-more like gouache than watercolor
(and yes im aware due to the high white or whatever percentage in these pastel colors its understandable that they are chalky or opaque still not the best)
I have a few other sets of Watercolor Confections and like them so when I saw the Vintage Pastels, I just had to have them. The colors are ones you can't find in tube watercolors. They "fit my style" and even the packaging is eye candy to me!
I love this palette. The colors are so soft and very vintage. They’re not bright and transparent, but lovely soft tones for subtle work. I use them for backgrounds and some faces.
