This mould is amazing, fun and quite versatile!
White chocolate works very well. I tried this mould using a Royal Icing recipe that I’ve used for years and it works very well in this mould, too!. After snowflakes were dry/solid coated them with a clear glaze & sprinkled with a clear edible glitter. Gorgeous!
I am loving this mould! Looking forward to seeing more of them featured on Scrapbook.com!
I love the versatility of the redesign snowflake mould! Use with amazing casting resin, paper clay, modeling material, hot glue, fondant, candy melts, and more. (The mould is food safe!)
You can also use the snowflakes with the hangers, or cut them off, to create your own winter embellishments. I love creating the moulded pieces, painting with Finnabair sparks or metallique paints, then lightly applying Finnabair waxes with the tip of my finger to catch those gorgeous details on each snowflake! In my gallery you can see a variety of waxes applied to show how beautiful each snowflake is!

I ordered the snowflake mold when it was featured on Scrapbook’s home page soon after Christmas 2020 (I like to order off-season when inventory can be higher). I can’t wait to see what will come out of this thing! The cutouts are so deep and detailed...and since it’s made of silicone it’ll be simple to pop out the snowflakes once they’re completely dry. Christmas 2021, here I come!
I have already tried this out using resin and the mould is very pliable - the resin hardened and popped out easily without using anything (like baby powder or corn starch) to line the mould.
The details of the snowflakes were great and I like the variety of sizes.
Another stunner by Prima x Scrapbook.com. This mould has perfect intricate details and I usually use resin to make my pieces. I have also added a project in the gallery which I had created using this mould.

This Mould is perfect for winter projects! Deeply etched and flexible. I used Modeling Material and the outcome was beautiful. I also tried hot glue and worked just as well!
This was a freebie with my order, I'm excited to use this for Christmas
It's my first mould and I will continue to work with it. It's a beautiful snowflake collection. I think the fault is merely my inexperience. Will be trying this over and over to improve the technique.
I have many molds by Re-Design and love all of them. This is the exception. I used resin. The quality of the design in the mold is poor. Painting the small ones without loosing the design elements is next to impossible. Save your money on this one and buy another Re-Design mold.
