When I buy the Prima Moulds, I buy for specific shapes.
This one has a frame, which actually has a hollow area into which other images and pieces can be inserted or placed or, if a little big, positioned coming out of the frame. I like to use the occasional frame in art collage pieces. The hearts range from simple pieces to more complex. I have used leather effect FIMO in the larger heart, making a few to bake, which turned out really well. The smaller simpler heats work well in larger collages as filler and to draw the eye in the design. I really like the teapot and cup/saucer impressions, but have only used these with liquid sculpy due to the thin areas. (Use toothpicks to help sculpy enter these areas and reduce bubbles all over.) The Duck will get used as interest in a nature area in a collage or as an unexpected object.
These molds will help reduce the cost of acquiring texture for collages, since hunting down certain shapes in the Jewellery area at the local VV boutiques can become expensive over time.

Hello! Yes, they are food safe, and they can handle heat up to 500 degrees F. Try filling with resin, clay, hot glue, paperclay, modeling material, as well as fondant, moldable candies, candy melts, etc!
