This Dye Ink Pad is designed by Simon Hurley for Ranger Ink. This dye ink pad measures 2.75" x 3.75" and has a coordinating 0.5 fluid ounce reinker (sold separately). This ink pad is in the color Breakup Blue. These ink pads can be used for creating backgrounds, stamping, and stenciling, among other things. This ink pad is made in the USA.
This has been a colour missing from the SH range until now... it's a beautiful shade of blue!
Like a few others have commented, this Simon Hurley ink arrived too dry to use.This was the same for all three S Hurley colors I ordered. Scrapbook.com's customer service was incredible, and they corrected things right away.
The color of this ink is quite different from others I have, almost lavender. It's really a beautiful color. It has a firm pad and a couple strings were frayed, which I just snipped off. I cannot speak to how the color blended.

Is Breakup Blue a true blue like say the sky?

It is more of a baby blue with light gray undertones. We hope this helps!
