They're on very thin tissue paper so what I plan to do is create a colorful background, then, with gel medium, glue it down. Put another layer of gel medium on top - let dry at least an hour and then, if I want, add more layers. I've found that the gel medium eliminates a lot of the "white" of the tissue paper so it becomes rather transparent. OR you could put the tissue paper on tin foil or other non absorbent material -- and paint it with watercolors or watered down acrylics... THEN glue over another surface. You might want to experiment painting front or back. I think painting the back would be interesting!! Good luck. here's a link to a tutuorial ---------- https://www.google.com/search?client=avast-a-1&q=youtube.comyoutube&oq=youtube.comyoutube&aqs=avast..69i57.8674j0j7&ie=UTF-8
