This Mini Distress Ink Kit, Seventeen, is designed by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink. This four pack features Tim Holtz's latest colors, Salvaged Patina, Prize Ribbon, Villainous Potion, and Saltwater Taffy. Each ink pad measures 1" x 1". The ink is water-based dye ink. These mini pads feature a raised felt pad, the ink is water-reactive and fade-resistant. These small pads are stable and easy to store. These ink pads can be freshened with the coordinating re-inkers (sold separately). These colors coordinate with the entire Distress Ink palette of products by Tim Holtz and Ranger Ink (sold separately).
I thought having all of the Distress Oxides--which are not available in this small size--was enough. Then I attended Jenn Shurkus' class on Distress ink techiques, aaannnddd....I wanted all of the regular Distress ink colors, too. Jenn said the cubes were a good way to start acquiring them--and that's what I did. I don't see any reason to get the bigger size since I am hoping to downsize and keep the things I really want.
The ink pads are nice & juicy--and, when it's time, can be reinked. Glad to see Ranger is still supporting the mini inks in all of the colors, including these 4 newest ones.
This set completes the current Distress Ink collection in a mini size.
Not only are the mini pads perfect for traveling (just pack the colors you need in one mini storage tin and you're set!), but they're "just enough" for most of us who use a little bit here and a little bit there.

Love these little ink pads. I find these little pads are easy for stamping and also they are perfect for water coloring.
I love this set of distress mini cubes. Like the others in the line, these are very convenient. I love using them.
I found them very dry. The pad loses threads as you distress with them. I didn't care for them at all.
First time using these and I love them, I love the pop of color that he put all my cards. He looks so amazing.

The color question has been answered but for future reference, the "description and details" are listed, but it takes some scrolling. I'm not sure why it's not right under the product--I'm sure SBC has a good reason. It took me a bit to figure it out. I hope this helps!
