I love the new color. I was surprised that this was not the mini ink pad like others I had ordered in the past. It is full sized. More ink to play with.
This is a pretty color, but it was quite dried out. Even though it was wrapped, I don't think it was wrapped tightly enough so that the lid was loosened during shipping. BUT, I do love Tim Holtz products, so I will continue to by the brand.
I love Distress Ink and was looking forward to the new color, Speckled Egg. Unfortunately and due to no one’s fault, the pad was basically dry and not usable. I am letting Scrapbook.com know this....I’m sure the problem will be remedied. Thanks and enjoy your Tim Holts Ink Pads. I love them!
I couldn't wait to get my hands on this color to make Christmas cards with. I also see this color for spring cards. Tim Holtz is a household name in the papercraft world. I also have the glaze in this color and the oxide. Both are great. Buy the matching glaze its not like other powders the texture is way different. Speckled Egg is a must have color!
Tim Holtz does it again! What a beautiful addition to my inks. Speckled Egg is soft and simply gorgeous. It goes with a lot of different colors. I am so very happy with this ink.

I really enjoyed this particular color, I use it when making junk journals, and cards etc. Lovely hazy blue color. Enjoyable.
I absolutely love this new color of distress ink!! I was really happy with the card I made using it.
I love the color this makes on all types of projects. Using different brushes and sponges.

The plan is to release 12 new Distress colors this year into next year. After every 4th new color release there will be a new Mini Distress Ink set which will contain the 4 new mini colors that were released so eventually there will be 3 additional Distress Mini Ink kits containing all 12 new colors.

Can Ranger Reinkers be used exactly like RangerAlcohol Inks? In other words directly n Yupo paper, etc.

No, reinkers are the same ink found in the Distress ink pads or oxide pads. They are water-reactive and not alcohol-based.
