Finally got my hands on some Distress Oxides after viewing swatches online. I decided to include this one in my new collection, and it is a lovely color and the effect that creates very pleasing to the eye. It’s a must have. The hue pigments leaves a baby blue with rusty brown rings details with a yellow-green background.
I do a lot of altered books, and the distress oxide sprays are perfect for altering pages. I especially like the different results I get each time I use the spray - even if I use the same color or color scheme.
These sprays go on smoothly without a lot of splattering, blending the different colors is easy and the techniques you can use are only limited by your imagination!
My favorite spray and ink pad color is Old Paper. This quirky color never ceases to amaze me! Sometimes it looks more blue, purple and gray, while other times it looks more green and yellow! If can only purchase one color of spray, buy Old Paper - it’s like getting at least 5 colors in one bottle! Believe me, you won’t be disappointed!
This is a really soft color. Perfect for the distressed or faded look.
