Haven't had time to use this ruler much yet, but the couple times I was really pleased the way it helped line up a sentiment,also held the different parts of a card in different ways so I could determine which way looked best. Really like it.
The magnets are strong so card stock stays put, and the sides provide a perfect alignment edge.
While I appreciated the ruler that the make art station came with, it was not really strong enough to use on top of a card. This little addition really completes the make art station in my opinion. I use it often to align card bases and sentiment strips. I would highly recommend it!
I had gotten the Wendi Vecchio mini mat but wasn’t fortunate enough to get this ruler included. Once I got this ruler though it has helped me to align the cards correctly so now I’m happier.
Just do it. You will not regret purchasing this item if you have Wendy Vecchi's magnetic base to work with it . As a cardmaker, I find this size to be perfect.
I recently purchased this and find it very helpful. I gave it only 4 starts because I feel it needs a magnet at the midpoint, the 0, so that it won't slide when lining up with cards. It does not stay down as well as the 12 inch ruler with 4 magnets.
