It's cute. The magnets are strong. I think it will come in handy for certain items that need to be tacked down and so you don't have to use tape.
I really don't do "cards" on any regular basis, for which it is good size. But I look forward to testing it out more for different small embellishments I make.
I think it would be good to get the ruler to go with it. The ruler that comes with it, is a printed magnetic sheet - but it still works for measuring - if that's all you need.
Either way - this was a very nice surprise gift when I ordered. Scrapbook.com can be so generous with testers and little gifts - that is always appreciated!

I am in Canada and Scrapbook.com has great shipping prices, and I can actually find what I need. I am always grateful for a sale. This gift was a real bonus as it is not often easy to try out new things without paying a fortune here. I have to pick and choose what I get because vendors love to tripple the price if you are Canadian and sourcing can be a challenge at times. I know I can rely on Scrapbook to be fair and I love the selection!
I really like this product. I have limited room to craft anyway, and this small-size mat and accessories work just right to plan a standard size card and to hold the pieces on while you're thinking/creating. The magnets are really powerful; I was impressed by them. The small ruler is just the right size for me and also sticks to the mat surface via magnet. This Stay-tion is all around a great idea.
I love this product! I just made 35 Easter cards and had to glue 4 layers of egg-shaped die-cuts together. I needed something to hold the layers together without them moving while I glued each half --- and this worked perfectly with the magnets. Also its small and fits in my small craft area!!!
Excellent must-have tool for cardmaking. Helps to keep card in place when using paint and inking with magnets. Also grids on mat and ruler helps to keep card straight for embellishments and other add-ons. Highly recommend travel size for cards or full size for scrapbooking pages.
It's small enough to hang on my pegboard, and large enough to watercolor card fronts. I can even use the four magnets to create brackets for acrylic blocks, and re-stamp an image as often as I need to!

This small metal plate with magnets and magnetic ruler is quite a smart item! Tho it is small it can incorporate many uses! I had only seen it as a large item and this works well to hold securely my projects! It is also easy to store due to its small size which is very important in my small space. The ruler has many uses as well. It can also hold down items and it is a ruler!
This works well for me. I am a novice art journal creator and I find this helps me with stamping and stenciling in my journal. I'm glad i purchased this item.
I got this free with my last purchase. I'm really glad I didn't buy it, it's just way to small for me. This is a personal issue, the product itself works just fine. But for me I'd prefer a larger one.

Any crafter that has received this miniSTATION within the last two months or so, did you receive the clear or whit ruler? Picture and full description below item, does not say clear but both videos with Wendy, show the clear ruler, and ahe also mentions it. Emailed customer service ( i know it is a holiday- was emailed tonread info), but if the white ruler is being sold, I do not want it. If the clear is being sold with the kit, the picture and description should be updated. It is confusing and I do not want to have to send it back and will not buy another ruler. Thanks for your help. Pam....have a good new yea!

Both Make Art Stay-tions come with a flexible white magnetic ruler. The Make Art magnetic acrylic ruler is a separate purchase.

How do you prevent your Stay-tion from slipping on your work surface? Mine moves as I try to craft. Very frustrating.

The Ranger Silicone Mat (ri-ink71778) or a rug grip/textured jar opener placed underneath your Stay-tion will prevent slipping on your work surface.
