This is the thickest chipboard I've yet used. My husband is cutting it with one of his electric saws and the result is smooth as glass. I'm using it to make large boxes and large scrapbooks.
I looked high and low for this exact chipboard. It's exactly what I was looking for. They shipped it out quickly and was in perfect condition. Very satisfied.

I would like to use this to make covers for journals/books. Is it rigid? If it�s bendable it might not work. I need it to be sturdy. Would this work?

It is very sturdy and great for making covers for mini albums/books. The only drawback that I found was that I had a hard time cutting it because it was so thick. I did not have anything sturdy enough to cut through so I had to make many passes with my craft knife before I could ever get half way through then flip it over and work from the other side. This was not very convenient for someone who has chronic pain in their hands and shoulders. However, if you have the proper tools and strength it would probably work great for you. Hope this helps.
